YUM...OR NOT?
Americans today have a tendancy to like things that are FAST, like fast cars, fast meetings, fast classes and especially fast food. This is why, as a collaborative group Phil, NIna and Jorie have come together to find out just why these "FAST FOODS" are so appealing, even though it is a known fact that they lead to health complications.
In the process of researching the fast food industry we are hoping to reveal why people eat garbage. We are looking into the physical reasons why and the mental reasons why as well.
-You will see the research questions that promted our project.
-You will find two interviews that were conducted with a Dr. Leslie Spencer and a Julie Church Malloy.
-You will also find a documentary (or a very good attempt at one) that it ten minutes long about our topic.
The interviews helped focus and direct our projects findings. We are looking into the availability of fast foods such as McDonalds or Pizza Hut and even places like WAWA (a convienence store). We are also researching the prices and affordabiltiy of such foods for American families. Along with those two factors we will be looking at the lifestyles that enduce these unfortunate health decisions.
